Jeff Vilar

President

Jeff Vilar launched Naida Communications in February 2009 with the belief and confidence that there is a niche in the business to business (B2B) sector requiring not only ad agency services but also sales and marketing strategy formulation. The Naida business model was founded on the premise that ad agencies typically focus on marketing ‘execution’ such as corporate communications, branding, media buying and design. Naida will focus on sales and marketing strategies first…execution second!

Jeff has over 23 years of experience in the Sales and Marketing arena working with such organizations as the Royal Bank of Canada, LGM Graphics and Transcontinental Printing. After 7 ½ years in Toronto as Sales Manager with Transcontinental Printing, Jeff moved back to Winnipeg to take on the Vice President of Sales and Marketing position with Globally Boundless, a marketing company. In the 6 years he was with the organization, Jeff Vilar was instrumental in transitioning the company from its roots as a ‘graphics house’ to a full-fledged marketing organization bringing on board such customers as Travel Manitoba, Manitoba Public Insurance, Ducks Unlimited Canada, Shaw Cable, Manitoba Lotteries Corporation, AIM Trimark Mutual Funds and London Life.

With dual Bachelor Degrees in Commerce and Sociology from the University of Manitoba, Jeff’s expertise is in sales & marketing consultation and ensuring that any client’s marketing communication strategy is effective, impactful, cost effective and produces a strong ROI. Jeff’s ability to lead the Discovery Sessions through the Business Matrix, Sales Process, Marketing Initiatives and Value Proposition Exercises has resulted in the effective formulation of sales and marketing strategies. He is versed in all aspects of marketing including Corporate Communications, Corporate Branding & Identity, Direct Marketing, Web Development and Advertising.

Jeff’s diligent and methodical consultative marketing approach is admired by his customers helping them fully understand and appreciate the benefits of a well-formulated sales and marketing strategy. His ‘no compromise’ attitude to superior customer service enables Jeff to provide his customers with value added propositions centered around their business, sales and marketing objectives. Jeff’s most prominent asset, however, is his relentless dedication towards the success of the customers he consults with by providing innovative and proven sales and marketing solutions.

Amanda Wrubleski

Amanda Wrubleski began her career with Naida in the position of Account Manager. Her organizational skills and details-oriented nature allowed her to make a genuine contribution to the team and also provided excellent support as the company expanded in terms of both clients and staff. Now in the role of Marketing Strategist, Amanda manages the formulation and development of Marketing Strategies. Amanda’s skills in conducting research, writing and communications have allowed her to broaden the scope of the Marketing Plans that Naida delivers and also ensures that clients’ goals are always addressed within the strategy. Amanda also utilizes her proficiency in writing to prepare content and ad copy for various client marketing and promotional materials including brochures, websites, proposals and sell sheets. She maintains a positive relationship with all clients and handles the day-to-day management and tactical execution of several key accounts.

Ron Chan

Ron Chan joined Naida Communications in April 2010 as Sales & Marketing Strategist. His primary focus is to help clients identify Key Marketing Challenges and develop marketing strategies to increase sales.

Ron has over 17 years of Sales & Marketing experience working at organizations such as TD Bank, Corus Entertainment, Hotline International Pizza Systems Ltd. and Option Home Finance.

Formally educated in the areas of Economics, Business Finance and Marketing Ron is able to draw upon education and career experience to identify the marketing needs and develop cost effective marketing strategies for his clients.

Ron possesses an ENTREPRENEURIAL spirit, a result of being raised in an entrepreneurial family. Ron’s ability to develop rapport and trust with his clients is fostered by his commitment to help. This commitment has resulted in several Awards of Excellence while at TD Bank and a Business Development Manager of the Year Award at TD Private Client Group.

As a Board Member, Ron has shared his EXPERTISE on the YMCA Board as well as the Downtown Biz Board. Ron has also provided VALUABLE input sitting on advisory panels for the YMCA Business Start Program and Junior Achievement. Ron alsoparticipated on the judging panel for the Manitoba Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (2003-2005).

Ron is well versed in all aspects of marketing including radio, newspaper, TV, web, email, direct mail and social media.
